Donation of 100% Pure Marula Oil to the Japan Women’s Shelter Network
Taiyo Bussan Co., Ltd. has donated 100% pure Marula Oil through the Japan Women’s Shelter Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women.
The Japan Women’s Shelter Network is a nationwide network of private shelters and support organizations that assist women and children facing various difficulties, including domestic violence (DV) and sexual violence. Working together with affiliated organizations across Japan, the network provides counseling services, temporary shelter, and support for rebuilding independent lives.
As part of this initiative, our Mozambique-sourced 100% pure Marula Oil products were delivered to several organizations affiliated with the network. Cosmetics and personal care products are said to be in high demand at support facilities, and we sincerely hope that these products will provide even a small sense of comfort and care to those living under difficult circumstances.
Our Marula Oil also contributes to creating employment opportunities for women in Mozambique, Africa, where the raw ingredients are harvested and processed.
By improving local livelihoods, the product itself carries a background of supporting women through sustainable economic activity. This donation was made with the hope of extending that support to women in Japan as well through a product connected to empowerment and care.
In addition, this initiative was launched as part of our efforts to promote socially responsible activities through our newly introduced subscription service.
